No, I was actually listening to Sirius. I think RNR was at its peak 10 years ago, though it's probably still one of the only bearable FM stations anymore. Unfortunately, since I range mostly west and north of Baltimore, and I think RNR is in Annapolis and doesn't have a strong signal, I really can't get it unless I'm in certain areas. FM radio in general is almost unbearable these days. Thank god for satellite radio, and iPod.
I have actually grown fonder of U2 over the years; I used to have sort of a reactionary dislike of them, but Kunk's summary is spot on. They were a great band a long time ago, but I find all their recent stuff unlistenable. They know how to put on a spectacle though. They just passed through town and a lot of my friends are still raving about the concert.
The Boss is also terrible, and I am still irritated they took away one of my ok rock stations to play Springsteen concert stuff 24/7. WTF?
