here's the thing. lakers bench sucks right now and you can see how tired pau and kobe are in the 4th . someone has to step up from the bench.

also with bynum now all but done for the playoffs, i think the celtics smell blood. please tell me someone that we can still logically pull this off??

honestly, part of me is nervous/pessimistic, the other side realizes that our starters are far superior to theirs. if just ONE bench player steps up, and we play consistent D THROUGH the 4th, it shouldn't be a problem. Game 4 was there for the taking, just let things spiral out of control in the 4th and even then, lakers had a chance at the end, but just had some bad blunders, some bad calls and just below avg effort.

but I'm still waiting for a signature Kobe game, offensively speaking. Once that comes, it's over for boston. question is, will it come this series

Celts are doing just enough so that Kobe has a good game (+/- 30 pts), but not a great game (+40).

Rooted for the Suns to play the Celts in the finals, but I'm a Celts fan. However, I'm also a Jared Dudley (BC alum) fan, and a native to the Southwest.
