here's the thing. lakers bench sucks right now and you can see how tired pau and kobe are in the 4th . someone has to step up from the bench.

also with bynum now all but done for the playoffs, i think the celtics smell blood. please tell me someone that we can still logically pull this off??

Here's the logic: Kobe Bean Bryant

honestly, part of me is nervous/pessimistic, the other side realizes that our starters are far superior to theirs. if just ONE bench player steps up, and we play consistent D THROUGH the 4th, it shouldn't be a problem. Game 4 was there for the taking, just let things spiral out of control in the 4th and even then, lakers had a chance at the end, but just had some bad blunders, some bad calls and just below avg effort.

but I'm still waiting for a signature Kobe game, offensively speaking. Once that comes, it's over for boston. question is, will it come this series

Celts are doing just enough so that Kobe has a good game (+/- 30 pts), but not a great game (+40).

LOL at everyone calling Baby and Nate douches.

LOL at anyone implying Adam Morrison is even remotely a contributing member of the Lakers.

Given his proximity to the court and number of minutes played in the playoffs, he's as much a Laker as these guys:

good call on Adam Morrison and sasha. no question they are douches. can we agree on kobe being at least a part time douche? so that's the lakers' list. here are the celtics douches: kg sheer davis Nate rondo Perkins even pierce is debatable. that's the entire playoff rotation sans Ray Allen

wasn't this dude rooting for the suns first and now the celtics?

Why? He's not very good and I'm pretty sure he has fumbled away his dribble in at least once in every playoff game this year, but what makes him a douche?

Rooted for the Suns to play the Celts in the finals, but I'm a Celts fan. However, I'm also a Jared Dudley (BC alum) fan, and a native to the Southwest.

Besides, we've got enough LA fans here that I think we need more Beantown representation

i never in my mind ever considered Adam Morrisson as a Laker.

laker fans go from ecstacy to disaster in a heartbeat and change with the wind. first it's fisher is a dog. then he's a hero. then somebody else is a dog. wasn't too long ago it was artest. then it wasn't. now ... well, maybe. so does anybody think ariza would be doing better in this series than artest?
