New Church's website

I don't think it's that good to be honest. Far too clunky.

http://www.church-footwear.com/

1. Can't rotate pics of shoes.

This is neccessary - you need to be able to see the shape of the last.

Last 108 and 116 mean very little in this context - they are just meaningless numbers.

2. Sizes are in European sizes, not UK sizes. Why not show UK sizes too?

3. The 'country collection' - all roughout suedes - is very dull. Why so many chukkas?

4. The scroll down is agonisingly slow, the font too small. You have to 'drag' it down.

5. Goodyear Flex - "particularly appreciated in warmer climates". I don't care really.

And there's not a single decent ankle boot there!

My impression is that there is an uneasy fit between Northampton, England and Italy. Trying far too hard to capture a distinctly English look, but it somehow fails.

The purist retreats to Tricker's, Crockett & Jones and EG.

I like many have been awaiting the new Church's website. Quite frankly, considering the time it's taken to come online it's very poor indeed.

3 shots of the side of the shoe, each getting closer. No other shots to depict what the toe shape or last shape look like.

The layout is clean, but the lack of vital information is a great letdown.

The suede Adelaide (don't remember the style name) looks nice. That is all.

Why show a shoe only from the side?
