MNF - Packers @ Vikings

Amongst all the ass-kissing of Brett Favre by the commentators, and all the "analysis" of the game, one thing I haven't heard them comment on is how he would have done had he been playing for Green Bay instead of Minnesota. I can assure you he would have had at least 2 picks if he had as much pressure as Rodgers had. God that o-line has to be the worst in the league.

not favre's fault that the packers suck balls.

I hope Favre does well this season. He has earned the right with his career to say when he wants to walk away. He's obviously still got the ability to be a starting QB in the league.

here is where i would place the current crop in order:

1-p. manning
2-brady
3-brees (maybe he's #2)
4-favre
5-eli
6-ryan
7-flacco
8-hasselbeck
9-rodgers
10-cutler

No doubt. My question is how you think Favre would have played with the Packers' O-line. My contention is that Rodgers is playing at a much higher level than he's given credit and that if Favre were the QB, we'd all be saying he's washed up. He clearly is not, but given the time he had to sit in the pocket, nearly anyone could have played the way he did last night.

I started out saying "With no Rivers or Roethlisberger on this list, you have exposed yourself to be an idiot."

Then I saw Eli @ #5 and I realized this must be a joke post.

I think you've got Favre way too high. He might not even deserve to be in this list.

i actually forgot about ben but i'd put him 6 and move everyone down. they sometimes win despite him and he rapes ugly chicks. rivers and rogers are about equal from what I see.

i have always been a favre fan but the fawning was sickening. and a shitty o-line will doom any and all qbs. doesn;t matter.

I think Favre deserves to be on the list, but as Douglas said, Rivers and Roethlisberger need to be on it as well. 1. Peyton 2. Brady 3. Brees 4. Rodgers 5. Rivers 6. Roethlisberger 7. Favre 8. Cutler 9. Schaub 10. Ryan/Flacco Something like that.

If healthy, Schaub is a stud. Eli is just an above average QB in my book. I just can't get excited about the guy. Also, if you're going to get hurt, at least get hit by someone.

^ah, makes perfect sense now.

Is this the Black 'n Blue division I used to know and love? Do the Vikings still use a snowbank for their bench? Purple People Eaters, FTW!

So far Schaub's and Eli's stats are pretty identical. Let's see how Eli does in weeks 6 and 8 vs the Saints and Eagles. So far this year he has had cupcake matchups against weak secondaries.
