This is why I love Japan. This statue was just unveiled in my neighbourhood in Kobe.

I went to the Gundam in Odaiba also. It was pretty cool, but you get over how big it is pretty quickly. I wish I knew that statue was being built in Kobe, I would have checked out the partially done version when I was in Kobe for silver week.

hahaha I was in Odaiba about 3 years ago and just saw a little Statue of Liberty. Would've been sweet to see a 1:1 Gundam.

Yeah, Gigantor in the states or Tetsujin (Iron Man) 28-GO in Japan. It was actually a manga first then became an anime in the 60s and 80s.
