Yep they're good geezers

First purchase, very happy with the quality of the socks and the colors and the turnout of the order - within two weeks I got them to Japan. No taxes or duties paid. Definitely would be looking at their winter offerings.

Bought 10 pairs, got the paypal receipt, but never got a confirmation email/order # from viccel themselves... Is this usual?

Yes. They just sent me my socks silently after I paid. My pair appeared out of nowhere 2 weeks later. But you can always email them to confirm, they do respond.

This hasn't been the case for me. I'll usually receive a follow-up email from Kemal (info@viccel.com) with an overview of the order, an order number, and other general information. It looks like an auto-generated email but Kemal has always responded through that email to any follow-up inquiries I have.

I'd check your spam folder just to be safe.

Last order arrived in less than 7 days and that is for deliver to Australia, was pleasantly surprised.

Tracking is only available when you order more than 3(?) pairs, although the Turkish Post tracking system is pretty shithouse.

Just ordered a bunch of different colours in OTC. Looking forward to them.

Need staple colours (navy, blues, charcoal) for the super heavy weight. Any ETA on more colours?

The 'heavy winter weight' are laughably and embarrassingly thin a sock of that name.

Just received my first order and am very happy. About to order a bunch more. Wish they had more herringbone/stripe options though.

What thickness did you order?

I wish there was a way to look up a previous order.

My first order was two pair--heavy wool and winter weight cotton. Love the winter weight cotton (good year around thickness IMO), heavy wool will only get use on cold winter days. Included some summer weight and heavy winter weight cotton pairs in today's order though.

Anyone have their heavy winter weight OTC socks fray at the top or have loose threads coming out after laundering?

I'm washing on a HE top loader on delicate settings and occasionally spin drying them on delicate settings (low heat).

I'd never put socks in the dryer. Only hang them and let them air dry.

I'm lazy and put my socks in the dryer as well. Haven't had any fraying or loose threads.
