Potential strain and damage wouldn't be compounded by the washer or dryer as I'm hand washing my Viccel socks with white Zote soap (if you like the smell of citronella, it's wonderful stuff) and hang drying using Mawa clip hangers.

I think that wearing the socks in between your foot and your shoe while walking around for an entire day will be much more stressful on your socks than turning them inside out to wash them.

I turn all of my socks inside out to wash them, but put them inside a mesh laundry bag before throwing it into the washing machine so that the socks don't get tangled and stretched inside the machine.

so we have started to make free of charge the most expensive pair of socks you ordered in case of ordering 10 or more socks.

Styleforum member discount will still continue.

How do I apply the member discount?

[edit] Strange. This time it worked. My last order I couldn't get it to work. I think I know why. I think it looks at the http referrer header to see that I was linked from SF.

Just received my first order of Viccel, free shipping from Turkey to North Africa was fast, two weeks.

My question is relating to the top edges- seem to be frayed as received from the package, is this going to be a problem, are they going to fall apart? Has anyone else noticed this in new socks, or was quality control just out having a tea when these went down the line?

I think the purpose is to prevent color loss on the outside surface. I didn't do this with my lilac ribbed socks and now the ribs have faded after a couple washings on cold.

Viccel posted some pics of some merino wool socks some months ago, any update on this? Would love if they started with merino wool socks also.
