There wasn't anything in the spam folder relating to socks/viccel.

Kemal replied my enquiry (pretty fast!) and now I'm quite sure I'll be getting them before the weekends (I hope).

Collect the socks today from the local postal office as nobody was available to receive the delivery when it was made yesterday.

Nice socks. Colours are darker than expected. I ordered the winter version and they weren't as thick as the "regular" ones sold here (where it is perpetually summer all year round). Unfortunately the shoes I've bought are based on thicker socks and the ones from Viccel might cause a less ideal fit. Only tried walking around the house in them so I can't yet tell for sure.

I bought one sock to test. Well i love the color on them. I bought the "winter weight", to be honest...its a joke. They are waay to thin to be called that. I freeze in them and they are even thinner at the front where the toes are, so you can actually see through the textile.

So Viccel, if you make another option with perhaps 50 % thicker than the winter weight and call them "ice age weight" i will be glad to buy your socks!

I've had trouble finding socks that fit for some time. I'm a size 8 US shoe (7.5 US without socks), so most one-size-fits-all socks leave a wad of fabric bunched up above my heel. Combine that with my preference for OTC socks and it makes it pretty difficult to find a line that works.

I just placed an order for three different weights of Viccel socks and am looking forward to receiving a package in a few weeks.

So I have received my socks. The design I selected were herringbone black grey & black white.  If some of you think that the thickness is like a winter hiking sock, you will be wrong.  In fact, I would say it has a thickness of a normal sport socks.  I was hoping to use it as an alternative to a construction work sock but I will not pass judgement until I wear after a full days work.

Construction seems solid, no seams, and feels like a dress sock.  Maybe Viccel.com can do a test run on something that is 100 percent thicker than heavy winter weight sock but I can see the arguement that these are dress socks...

My socks just arrived today, 2013-02-26, only about three business weeks from the time of my order to the Midwestern US. I'm looking forward to trying each of the three styles out (I ordered one of each weight).
