Viccel.com socks - Page 41

Hmmm. I ordered mine on the 9th, they haven't arrived, the order status (on the tracking link they sent me) says "being prepared", and I haven't received any response to the email I sent to info@viccel.com.

Is this normal?

Yes, mine went out 10th and I got them today. Some problem with the turkish post office, you should have them any day now.

A heads-up regarding the current schedule: mine were paid on 6/10 (a Saturday), despatched on 14/10 and were delivered to me here in Belgium on 22/10.

Can agree that the shipping is very slow, but then again awesome prices so no need to complain!

I think Turkish post works just fine; I live in canada and mail from the US takes about 2 weeks...

Once they are dropped at the post office, or picked up, the seller has no longer control over the shipment.   So no need to blame Viccel

The fabrics are all right, but 34usd/m is pricey. One can get THomas Mason for that price, and Acorn for cheaper.

I'm not saying that. It was this time it was wrong with the turkish post office some delay (since I talked to them)

Viccel has a great service.

While the cotton material is smooth, soft and colours are vivid, all my Viccel socks have been destroyed from ankle seams. This after around 20 washes. Woollen socks are also great for a few washes, then they shrink heavily.

I advise everyone to avoid Viccel altogether. Bresciani, Marcoliani, Scott-Nichol and Pantherella still offer the best bang for one's buck.

Did you get holes in yours? I had a hole in fifth wash and I hand washed it.

I do not agree, I have used Viccel socks everyday for many months and have not had a single problem with any of my socks.

My winter weights have held up. Not my summer weight ones. Too thin.
That may be, I have only had experience with the winter weights.

My pairs were all winter weight, the ankle seams never last. Great cotton, poor knitting machines.
