I ordered from them about a year ago. No Issues with the process. It just took a while for the socks to arrive. I knew that going in based on reviews.

I was able to speak with them as well via the chat with us function about a potential issue before it became an issue. I will be ordering from them again.

There are alternatives but they are more expensive and do not have as many options.

I was under the impression that Viccel was closing? I received an email a week ago saying that they were stopping the Viccel brand and now becoming Celchuk.

I did too, but it doesn't seem to have as many items available as the old Viccel website does yet

Wow I didn't receive this email this is good to know. I looked at the new website and it doesn't seem to be as good as the Viccel site. I did notice they are selling under the name "CLuxurySocks" on etsy, which fits in line with the name change.

There are a few alternatives for over the calf socks but they do not have as many options.

Mes Chaussettes Rouges would be the main alternative

Okay, just tried ordering multiple times on Viccel, and I keep getting an error message that's apparently "wrong card code" in Turkish. Thing is, I am absolutely positive it is not wrong.

Some recommendations on alternatives would be great.

One additional alternative I forgot is IL Regalo out of Japan but again the selection is much more limited.

Ordered many socks tonight.

Two questions:

1. Anyone ordered the packages of socks before? They show 3-4 colors in a photo and advertise a 3-4 sock package at a discount. It doesn't say whether you receive the colors in the photo or random colors.

2. What's going on with their shipping delays and order fulfillment -- do they continue to have problems?

Yes. I will use that discount and order some more socks. Same great value to quality ratio than viccel
