I have fairly good skin. My face rarely breaks out anymore...maybe a zit once a week or so. but nothing extreme. Here is the big problem. I get these red, raised, sometimes painful nodules on my neck. What is weird is I never get them on my face...ONLY on my neck. At first I thought it might have been ingrown hairs...but then they started appearing in places on my neck that hair doesnt grow. So I don't know what they could be. Possibly nodular acne maybe? I only get like one or two at a time and they are always by themselves. They appear out of nowhere too. It is really starting to be a pain in the ass...and quite unsightly if you ask me. It really affects my self confidence. Whenever I get one...I usually rub rubbing alcohol on it, and that seems to dry it up...but it still takes a week for it to go away. And then the next week a new one will appear somewhere else on my neck. Does anybody have any suggestions as how to prevent these? Thanks in advance!!!

Could it be a simple case of razor burn?

I have smaller bumps in my neck(dont need to shave there). Once in a while while ill just check to see if i have any(started after the first time i found one) but when i pop mine, they leave no marks at all and only a small amount of clear liquid comes out. no idea what its from though. as with any skin issue, dermatologist! i dont know if this helps. but i am already on the 2 fish oil a day routine.
