Shirt laundry in NYC - Page 2

For those of you with access to a Hallak or Meurice that's great. But for those of you with fine garments (particularly bespoke and MTM) and who don't have access to a true quality cleaner, shipping out of state is a real option. For example, my cleaner, RAVE FabriCARE, has dry cleaning and shirt laundry clients in over 40 states, including NY, NJ and CT. And we're located in Arizona! Some send everything (and I mean everything). Some only send their bespoke and MTM suits. Others send only their custom shirts. Some only send items that have been "put through the ringer" by their local cleaner and that require restoration to "like new" condition. The bottom line: Don't eliminate shipping out of state as an option. It can resurrect that dingy-never-to-be-worn-again MTM cream linen suit and get those about-to-be-tossed-into-the-charity-bin custom shirts looking like new again. For a picture view of how this process works.... Blog post: Our Nationwide Clean By Mail service -- the process in pictures http://www.ravefabricare.com/true-qu...-pictures.aspx

Apologies for reviving an ancient thread, but I was just wondering if the recommendations are still the same? Any new contenders for best shirt laundry in NYC? I would be interested in someone who offers hand pressing.
