surprised there isn't a children's music thread i must be a bad searcher there are a few that i really enjoy raymond scott's "soothing sounds for baby" music played by this former big band leader using early electronic instruments of his own invention precursor to electronic ambient music johnny cash's "children's album" not just a good children's album but a good johnny cash album feels off the cuff and loose woody guthrie "songs to grow on for mother and child" another rather candid sounding album that woody recorded after the birth of his first child she later died as a result of her burns when her clothes caught on fire while woody was on the road he could not have known this would happen but it does effect how one hears this record heartbreaking and wonderful both i know there are folkways children's music compilations but i haven't heard them i also have an inkling that there is a bob marley children's record floating around out there but i've never listened to it so share with me what helps get the wiggles out?
