hahahaahaa, nice.

but seriously what is the point of it.

^I think they're like darts in a jacket or shirt -- they allow the glove to be full over the knuckles and wrist but tighter in between. Probably decorative to some degree too.

How is the pecarri leather, nice?

I like the leather on mine, but it certainly isn't very warm with unlined ones:

But I got those from Dents, they are handmade in Lambskin. Very warm and comfortably. They are still on sale BTW, for £30 here:

Just ordered these off of leathergloves online. Wanted to get an opinion as to sizing. These are size 8, however I think I might need to go up one half size to 8.5. Note the stretching across the inner palm and the location of my knuckles when putting the hand in a fist.

I am inclined to return them as I really do think they are too small.

Gloves in the picture are a brown Peccary.

Leather stretches, so if they're not very tight, then keep them, they will stretch out to a perfect fit.

I'm about to buy one madova and also want one portolano, except the portolano site has nothing listed. Is this usual for them? Do they list a little later on or are they simply no longer selling through their site?

just got some peccari leather gloves.

they feel and look large.
size is correct, but I have ***** hands so the fingers are too long and I wish they fit tighter.

should i size 1/2 down or is there a way to shrink them permanently?

I hear putting them in boiling water for 30 secs then blow drying works?
can i use some saddle soap, get them wet and blow dry?

Can anyone recommend gloves that look like these peccary ones but are not made out of pigs?

Too bad Scotch & Soda don't have this anymore. Would've snatched one, even though I feel that gloves are one accessory I don't like spending much money on.
