Leather with cashmere sounds so romantic, but they are crap in really cold weather..and I have 4 pairs!

Tell me about it, I live in Sweden and bought a par of silk lined madova last year. They are pretty much too cold already now when the weather is around 0 degreees celcius.

Im considering something more warm this year. What do you guys think is the best lining in terms of keeping you warm? Rabbit or Lamb Shearling?

I was looking for the same pair myself. Does anyone know who makes it and where I can get it.

ap10046, how has your pair's leather aged?

I've actually just got my first pair of Dent's...MUCh better than my RLPL leather/cashmere ones.
All I can say is..the leather is easily good enough to eat..I mean buttery soft cannot describe the suppleness and feel of them. YUM!
The finishing is excellent...wish I had ordered a half size larger though..

They should stretch.. especially because the leather is so soft.. Glad you like them icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Spoo, love the gloves but do they fit you good (seems little big?) Second question, where did you buy them?

ap10046 and hampton, I already asked this in the recent purchases thread, but how are those? Are they warm enough for a mild winter (say 0 to -10 degrees celcius)?

Just buy them, you won't regret it. No thinking, no looking around. Just buy.

blazingazn, how have your Paularun gloves aged? The maker's website states that the leather is chrome-tanned, this has me worried a bit.

In terms of color, they are already dark brown so I don't see much of a difference. Fingers are darker.

In terms of wear, it's been 2 seasons and they seem as good as the day I bought them.
They do stretch so size down always.

And don't get them soaked in rain. They will dry very crunchy and you'll have to risk cracking leather while you condition them back to softness.
I live in Vancouver though, so you can't blame me for that!

They did not fit well, which is why they rest on the hands of another larger mittened SFer. They were by Lambertson Truex, got them on eBay.
