big difference between top five and top fifteen. you are in jordan/wilt/lebron/shaq territory in top five, and bird isn't there.

top ten and top fifteen not so much. while bird's prob not top ten i definitely wouldnt argue against top fifteen.

again im not really sure how well bird is regarded - if he's considered top fifteen, he's not overrated

LOL, it's pretty easy to tell the age of a poster based upon their opinion of Larry Bird. No one in his mid-30s or older would consider Bird to be overrated.

Ask yourself this question: If your life depended on the outcome of a basketball game, would you select Bird (in his prime) as one of the five players on your team? I would.

id have lebron at the three but a case could be made for the inclusion of bird as a shooter. of course, with a team that stacked, a shooter wouldn't actually be needed. they'd be on the ft line all night.

well at least he can bring youthful vigor and lack of championship winning experience to the team.
