Top NYC Stylish Bars? - Suits common?

I'm trying to figure out where to take a rather stylish woman in NYC. Campbell Apartment is good. Campbell Apartment with a full band and a dance floor would be better.

She's a bit into the glitz and glam... but in a positive way.

So what are your favorite New York City bars (I searched for a thread) that incorporate style? (And if any have a band and/or dance floor, please note it)

If you are downtown try the recently opened Setai. I believe the address is 40 Broad Street. No band or dance floor as far as I've seen.

By stylish, do you mean "trendy, but not meat-market." I'm not sure I know the answer. If I wanted to take a "stylish" woman out for a drink in NYC someplace with a bit of NYC theater but not the meat market, I'd get reservations at Milk & Honey or PDT. Angel's Share might also be good, but I have not experienced it. If I wanted to do hardcore dinner and dancing I'd go to the Rainbow Room (if it is still open) -- how can you go wrong dancing with a City view from Rockefeller? ~ H

A brand new "it" club opened yesterday and it is carnival themed it's on 16th and 8th ( i think)
above bowlorama ( bowlmore). Next thursday they are having a huge celeb party and it will be the new hotspot for awhile. Take her there.
