I'm actually wearing one of the 1 1/4" belts right now. As pebblegrain says, the leather is pretty much the same bridle leather as they feature on the bags (good enough for me) and I like the hardware. I'd buy it again. I'm not sure I'd go as wide as 1.5" inches though.

I have both the double bridle leather belts in 1.5"...nothing else is as good.

Having bought, sold and kept (XL duffle, wheeled carry on, large carry on bag X 2) several Filson twill products, I am now looking at the (gasp) Filson Passage range, specifically for the Passage Rolling Check-in Bag-28".

I want a check- in bag bag for my air travel that is both tough and does not stand out (my research tells me that the obviously expensive bags are vulnerable to theft). I have been looming at Riley & Briggs, Tumi and Filson.

I'm looking for reviews, comparisons with other non Filson products etc.

Thanks in advance for any help/ suggestions etc.

Looking into purchasing a filson tin jacket and was wondering if anyone on here has ever had their filson jacket taken in? I like all my jacket to be slim fitting, and I know thats not going to be the case with a filson, I already have a tailor I trust so that isnt a problem either

They fit true to size (I bought a pair of 9.5D) and run a bit narrow. I wear a 9.5-10D (US). 10D in Nikes/adidas/New Balance and 9.5D in boots/dress shoes/Jack Purcells/Sperry Topsiders.

you can find these for a lot lower than retail doing a little googlefoo..

there were two versions of this... one is the stamped sebago on the leather and the other is the fabric tag that hangs down from the side...both are ugly.....

I could live with it... at least I can trash these shoes and it'll still be covered by the filson guarantee/warranty.

idk crane is the affiliate here and i bought my first bag from them because i thought they would be cheapest or close to the best prices i could get but if you look around. there are so many better places that are cheaper, some places even substantially, you might just have to wait a bit for a sale here and there

^ya that's what I noticed thought maybe he had a coupon code or something he really is nowhere near the cheapest and shipping is the highest (most are free but i wanted to buy from an affiliate, guess no longer).

crane's used to be the best when they had huge discount codes but i think filson told them to stop


jet buy from cable call clothiers. 30% off. probably not gonna find better.
