It is the most important part of our diet I believe. To try to loose weight or in any way to force your body to change by dehydrating your self (at any level ) is just plain stupid and so disrespectful to your own body I cant believe that anyone would do that.
We need water to function properly. Dehydration causes many more illnesses that we associate with it.

Fighters do it all the time. Your body fat % can only get so low. The only kind of weight left to lose when you're at a low body fat % is water weight. They do it to be able to fight in the lighter weight class in order to have a size advantage. MMA fighters lose 10-20 pounds of water for their weighs is all the time.
