I went on a ton of blind dates in college. Everyone used to set me up. Most were marginal looking and a few were cute, only one was a real stunner. Half of the dates turned out to be quite memorable for all kinds of reasons.

Don't be a pussy. Take the challenge, have some fun. Charm them. It is good karma and excellent motivation for improving your dating skills.

^Not to mention the fact that — in my experience anyway — marginal girls work really, really hard to please.
