I was on there, especially because there is a sale going on, but I noticed that Purple Label is gone. I remember they had PL sweaters, ties, sport coats, dress shirts, pants, etc. Gone...

I'm willing to bet they took it off because of the current 25% off promotion.

I spoke with one of the SA's and they removed it from many of the stores and the website because they want to make the line more exclusive.

I think what they're trying to do is acheive more sales at around retail pricing, and keep the line in stores that are going to sell more of it before it reaches clearance pricing.

Smart move...but how about just lowering the starting price...nevermind, that makes too much sense.

Then it won't be so exclusive if us plebs can afford it at retail.

I certainly don't want to buy any brand that I can afford.

Yes awesome. Can we keep updates on the sale prices. I am near Manhasset they carry the full RLPL service but I am not in any contact with SA's there.

This should make Black Label more popular now.

Purple label isnt meant to be 'affordable'. Thats why they're bringing it back to the spots that can afford it.

There are not as many people today that can afford to buy PL, and this is the effect of that.
