For $200, why settle for questionable quality from J Crew when you can look at some allen edmonds.

I like my J.C. Wingtips very much.

Has the quality of J Crew wingtips improved at all or is the consensus that they're still shit?  I need to buy a pair of dark brown or black shoes to pair with a charcoal suit.

The McAllister is part of AE's current sale. Can't go wrong for $250.

I don't buy anything full price, so I wouldn't be paying $225 for J Crew's wing tips.

Glad you updated. I saw some on ebay and was thinking of getting them. Now, I will let them go and not think twice.

You're welcome.  I don't actually own a pair (because they're awful), but I did try some on in store.
