i was wondering what's the difference between the "longflap" briefcases and the regular ones.. anyone?

The flap is longer on the long flap. It's made for people who over stuff their bags. When you get it closed the longer flap basically makes it aesthetically more pleasing to the eye or something like that.

I've got a separate thread about leather bag colors here: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?p=3305042. It's not specific to Saddleback, but I'm using their colors for reference since I'm thinking strongly about a thin briefcase.

I know I have heard rumblings from time to time, perhaps on facebook though I can't remember exactly where, that you may be producing some women's purses at some point. My wife keeps looking at my "overly manly" stachel and wondering outloud when you might be coming out with some women's purses. Any word on development? Is this something in the works or am I misremembering?

can anyone post a picture of the medium bi-fold wallet thickness? I would like to get one, but I'm worried that it will be crazy thick.

Its not too thick- very manageable and since the leather is soft(ter) than some of the raw leather bespoke makers out there, the thickness isn't an issue (even with cards put in).
Here is mine next to a Coach bi-fild. Bear in mind the Coach is very thin.

You remember correctly. The beginning of a woman's line should be coming out around October and it's going to be very cool. I believe there will be a woman's purse and a woman's tote to start out with.

Please let me know how long it has been since you signed up for a key chain if you haven't received it yet. If you have received your key chain, would love to know as well. I'm hoping something is not haywire with our system. I've asked our IT guru to look into it and it seems to be working but you never know. Worse case scenario, we might have to have you all sign up again for a key chain. If that's the case, apologies. Technology is awesome until it fails!
