I've had my DCB sleeve wallet for around two months now and am happy with it; works just as expected. I generally only carry two cards in it, though. If you're carrying 4+ cards and a little bit of cash or something, I can see how the ID wallet would be easier to manage.
The Saddleback website states that the sleeve wallet can stretch to hold up to 12 cards. While I don't doubt this is true given enough time and desire, if you're carrying 12 cards around, you're probably not a minimalist, lol, and not likely to buy this wallet in the first place. Not to mention, with 12 cards crammed in that thing, the slimness is gone, defeating the purpose of such a wallet in the first place. I'd say a more realistic maximum is 6-8 cards, but even that would be stretching it (pun intended). Just my thoughts.
Also, I'm pretty disappointed to read about the new "pre-distressed" leather. I hate pre-distressed anything. I thought Saddleback understood the beauty in buying something new and in pristine condition, and having it acquire its own character and patina over time...
How easy is it to get cards out of the wallet?
