I never said anything in regards to your link. If you care to read my post, you can see it is directed at 'denimdestroyedmylife' and jeans. Not the jacket you suggested. In relation to the jacket you linked to, I like it. Looks fairly good IMO.

LVC 506XX will definitely shrink almost a full size.. I would do a warm soak to get all of the shrinkage out.

Sorry, there was no reference and I assumed you were addressing my post.

Would you wear that in place of a full leather jacket in during the summer months?

Also, what pants do you wear in 95 degree weather? June-August?

Cheapmutha, um, I don't want to seem impolitic or anything here, but is that a mullet you're sporting with your denim-on-denim?

I was holping that it was a Steve Nash haircut - perfect for denim-on-denim.

as Brian said, it will shrink about a full size. Mine was also good in the shoulders but long in the sleeves and a bit roomy in the torso (size M) but I soaked it and it shrank to perfect size in the arms and body. Sounds like you scored with that jacket!

We are pretty much the same size, I've gathered, from previous posts. The jacket I have is a medium and I have the same fit issues with it (slightly too long in the arms and roomy in the torso. I'll soak it tonight. Thanks dude.

The 506 is supposed to be roomy. The Lee Cowboy jackets from that era are the slim-fit jawns.

but after a soak and shrink, it's "roomy" in the way it's meant to be (cut boxy) with proper length sleeves.

I've never been able to pull of the Denim Tuxedo look, I think it works quite well for people who can, though, especially in fall/winter as a layering thing.

Yeah, right now it is just a little too long (I like short and boxy - Engineered Garments and 6876 are two of my favorite brands) in both the body and the sleeves. The sleeves down near my knuckles doesn't look great (and I have pretty long arms).
