Cuffed shorts - what do you think?

What do you think about cuffed shorts like these?

I have a pair of nice linen trousers. A drunk girl spilled some red drink on the bottom leg area and dry cleaners can't do anything about it. I plan to have the pants turned into shorts and considering having cuffs.

I've had both cuffed and uncuffed shorts; do what you like. Both look equally good IMHO.

I'm not a fan of cuffs on shorts, personally, but it's a personal thing. Sorry to hear about the pant leg. An important lesson to learn, though: never wear things around drunk girls that you can't bear seeing ruined. It'll happen with surprising frequency.

I think it's a bit much but not a entierly bad look. If I wore shorts I might give them a try.
