Explanation for recent bannings - Page 7

I am seriously fed up with all these characters pulling these bloody stunts. Whatever happenned to civility and manners? You know, I think what I would like to state as far as all this rigmarole is something that my sempai has said a few times, (I'll paraphrase) worrying about those who are absent is unfair to those who are present as they will lose on valuable attention and assistance.

UHm...oh and don't forget to floss (not something he mentioned but my dentist made sure I was aware of that on my last visit so I thought I should also pass that one around ).

It's their forum so I suppose they can post whatever they want, maybe the fault is with us 'rubberneckers'. I would say that if we keep looking they'll probably keep doing it.

True but I meant in general with us bothering with them in the first place. They chose to act that way, that was their decision. We should not be concerned with their absence. We have so many shoes to see, so many Jantzen shirts to critique

Who wants to take bets that this thread will reach 10 pages?

Or we could start a new one and call it Much Ado About Nothing.

I agree, a little gentle humour is all in good fun, but when it turns vitriolic it's time for us to ignore it and return to our main interests.

Nah. That will just never happen.

I wouldn't give him too much credit. This forum is running on pretty common software and exploits are widely reported if you know where to look. The public misconception about "hackers" has always annoyed me. Vaclav took a pre-packaged exploit and used it. That certainly doesn't require much technical acumen.

Sorry Steve

All in good fun. For obvious reasons, I don't like getting my picture taken.

But to be fair, not everyone looks their best all the time.

Especially when they're in the midst of a passionate conversation with others of like mind.

And have a bit of a buzz.

Vaclav = comma fetishizing script kiddie. What a thought, LOL!

Looks as if the photos hosted on AK's sites have been pulled. Can't say I blame him. Who wrote the Vass construction post they are referring to?
Andrew Harris wrote it, but they seem to be referring to Gabor.
Actually, I think jcusey wrote the most recent Vass construction post at AA.
^^^that would make more sense. A Harris' is the only one I've seen.

FWIW - The mod board is not really all that interesting. Generally more administrative discussions and stuff than any sort of tidbits about the membership.
