I wore my MTO Jeffferson's today. Cappuccino Shell Cordovan.

More on the MTO thread, right after Blaster's epic gems!

My favorite AE MTO of all time. Simply gorgeous.

Hey, for y'all getting frustrated getting through to the shoe bank, it is worth noting that every single AE outlet in the country has access to the same database. When e.g., Jeffersonville is getting slamed, I've had excellent luck calling or e-mailing their outlets in Alabama and New England. I almost always get right through the first try.

Thank you CdM. I am very happy with them. They are also enduring wear very well! This was around their fifth voyage and with minimal care, still look perfect. :)

x2...called and was blown off. Not impressed with my recent shoebank experiences (this happened twice with the past 6 months)
Yeah, I had the same experience. Then I tried contacting the jville email address and response was WAAAY better. As in, responded within the hour of each email I sent, better. I'd give them a try if you plan on ordering anything.

after much efforts spent on getting the RL Sander to fit (had cobbler stretched the width twice, but my pinky still hurts after all day wearing), I decide that I will give up on those. It's just too narrow for me. FWIW, I am TTS on the 5 lasts and a little on the wide side of my brannock 10.5D size. I guess Sanderson is not meant for me.

Called first thing today and placed an order at 6am west coast time. Decided to go with the Broadstreet spectator in brown/white and the Westchester loafer in walnut. I was on the fence about ordering the Hanover, but decided that shoe might not look as well in the 3E width I need.

Since it is my first time ordering, can someone tell me whether I will receive a shipping confirmation, or will they simply arrive at my doorstep?

1/3 on my shipping confirmations so far. You might want to call back and make sure they copied your email addy correctly if you don't hear back.

Ok so during the $199 Neumok custom special that was the webgem I was going to do several makeups - settled on doing one...thank god I did as the so called Burnished red was going to be in two makeups - on the site the color they represent it as is basically burgundy - Still I understoond burnishing but was not prepared for what showed up at my door...EEEEWWWWW one ugly shoe..the burnishing was more like someone ran over the red with a bike tire.

I take my lessons like a man and had no interest in contacting AE as the build quality was great, delivered on time and price was awesome. So after moping around until I got a knock on the door and UPS delivered my Neumok Navy firsts from Amazon for $150 and I was happy again.

So I said WTF let me burnish these things more and see what happens-I spotted the burgundy cordovan cream and figured that was a good place to start as opposed to trying some black- Now the picture is just one pass of the Cordovan cream really well rubbed into the red(which had basically no coating on it) let dry then buffed- I like them MUCH better now- and really pretty close to the look I wanted. So I think a few more light passes with the cordovan color and getting some of my paint brushes out will allow me to get in the nooks - My only concern after this process is if I should use a neutral AE polish over it or not- Yes I am a fan of two tone shoes..broadstreets and sheltons...

Plan to wear them tomorrow with some black or slate chino style pants(other shoe is done now too-
