I'll be in Vegas over NYE and want to shop for some AE. I checked milo.com, but only found a few retailers selling AEs, anyone any recommendation?

Looks like the Brooks bros version, but yes, virtually the same. They are on sale on the BB site right now, FYI.
I purchased a pair of the BB Fifth Ave during the last sale. They're nice looking and have a little extra work put into the sole edging , along with the half rubber sole. But, I dislike quite a bit the Poron under the heel of the insole. I found the edge of it annoying under foot. It also gives the shoe a squishy feeling that I don't like. YMMV, some might like the padding. I've only just tried them on at this point, so I'll probably send them back and get the Peal version which are on sale at the moment. I also read elsewhere that AE won't recraft the shoes they make under other labels. That would be disappointing if that were the case.

Do they different shoes in store?

The AE website has some sweet deals right now.

A couple of weeks ago I picked up a pair of Cortlands on sale for $225 (now on sale for $199) and just ordered a pair of Hales for $199. Nice deal for $300+ shoes. Haven't gotten the Hale, but Cortland is a very nice shoe!

Pretty disappointed in the Nordstrom sale for AE.

Also, those shoes that are on sale on AE right now are limited editions and don't come in 8; only from 8.5 up.

I agree with you regarding the Nordstrom sale - nothing interesting.

Nordstrom will have separate sales at different locations.. My buddy is the shoe Manager at a local store and he said his sale will be different than the website.
