Kicking myself for not getting those cappuccino Mccallisters 

 

Aye, you aren't the only one! And the cappuccino Dundee. Waiting for a call back from AE now, I called this morning and asked if I could have the burgundy shell Dundee instead of the third attempt at the Bradley's. The Bradley's hadn't shipped yet but she said that it would have to go through the manager who was on another call. Figure I can come back for the Bradley's at a later time.

That cappuccino is beautiful, as are the rest of them.

 

Isn't there a new shade of brown coming out around the first of the year?  Bourbon, or something like that? 

I had a question on shoe width that I hoped somebody would be able to help me with. I have four pairs of Allen Edmonds and all are 11 EEE. Two pairs (Kenilworth, Malvern) seem to fit a little loose, while two pairs fit well (Park Avenue, Weybridge). I am planning to buy a pair of Strands, but can't decide between EEE and E. The shoe fit print out suggests I go with an E width, which is the way I am leaning. Am I correct to do this? Thanks.

Strands should fit pretty close to the Park Ave. Both on the 5 last.
So I would go for EEE if the PA fits good.

I'm not sure if they have been discontinued but the Quintons are also on the 8 last.

I have the old Mora, but I don't remember it being an 8 last. I'll check to confirm when I get home...

please do, the old mora is one of the shoes i'm most interested in, as long as it's on the 8.

 

Oh sure, rub it in...  ...j/k, well sort of LOL.

 

So to prevent that from happening with the current webgems please note that after Sept. 23 the current boots being offered in shell will no longer be available. If you really want any of them you have till the 23rd to order.

 

AE called me back this afternoon and they are going to allow me to exchange the burgundy shell Dundee for the Bradley's which I have been trying to get a decent pair since Dec. of last year. And I will order the black shell Dundee in the morning. A gentleman on here sent me a PM which I appreciate greatly and gave me a fantastic idea to try and pull off a trifecta on the Dundee's. Certainly worth a shot and thank you!!

Quick question, is there a way to stretch out the width of the shoe about a centimeter or so? There's some uncomfortable pressure on my small toe and a little more space would be perfect.

You can take it to a cobbler to have it stretched. If it is only a cm, I am sure wearing it a handful of times with stretch it, right? Are you able to exchange for a wider fit?

 

Is this an idea from which others might benefit?
