If you wear jeans a lot, either color would be good. If you don't wear jeans that often, I would suggest going with the tan.

The brown ones look absolutely perfect. The walnut's have a minor stitching flaw that should be no problem for a cobbler to fix up. With these being a limited run and the only one's in my size, I wouldn't dare send them back.

My calf Strands are definitely needing a good polish...I work as an Engineer in a manufacturing facility, so they acquire a good amount of dust/dirt on each wearing. I'm currently awaiting some Saphir cream, since the AE stuff is a bit too dark for my taste. I have no problem wearing the walnuts in to the office, since we have a very casual dress policy here, but if I wore a suit and tie every day, I'd probably feel a bit different.
