Fantastic! Thanks for the pics and enjoy wearing them!

Would you say the color in the pictures is representative, or did the sun make them appear lighter than they actually are? Either way, they look great.

I don't know the answer to that.  Indoors, side by side with the Alden chukkas, the AE's look almost as dark.  But the effect of natural sunlight is dramatic.  They look very light colored, like the shade of an AE walnut calf, depending on the angle.  The Alden chukkas look the same--dark brown--indoors or outdoors.

I actually stumbled upon some AE Fairfax in Chili (pictured below, with and without my flash) at Nordstrom Rack.  Price was $219, but I had some store credit there so I ended up paying ~$150 (but obviously the other 70 bucks plus tax was my own as well from a while back).  I know the shoe tends to be somewhat polarizing on SF, but I really dig the style, and I honestly love the Chili color (I love my Chili Delrays).  And I really like the Navy pants/Chili shoes look.

Plus, I haven't seen many 29 year olds rocking Fairfaxes.

I have the Fairfax in black, merlot, and chestnut. The chestnut pair gets more compliments than just about any shoe I own. All are quite handsome, in my opinion. And they are extremely comfortable for me. I guess the only thing that matters is that you are happy with them.

Thanks for your help.

Yes... The brown looks great with anything(as an FYI, they are all being refitted with new straps as there is a defect so unsure of when they will be shipped) and they looked fantastic with the Grey Chinos I had on in the AE store when I tried them on..

I have a 10 in the ridgeway, 9.5 in neumok but the neumora was perfect in a 9....

I'm sure somebody else will chime in as well.

As far as I know the 2/$200 deal ended on the 13th. At least, that's what my outlet said.

Those Norwiches are beautiful. Alas, (or perhaps fortunate for my wallet), on the 2 last, which I can't wear.
