The Malvern is a weird one on the 1 last, it was too tight for me in the toe box and I returned it. Going down in size and up in width had too much heel slippage. But the Shelton, Leeds (shell & calf), Wilbert (brown & black), Dalton, Bradley, Bayfield (brown & black) all fit me fine in the toe box. However my Shelton's are older and someone posted not long ago that he had replaced his older Shelton with a newer pair and the newer pair was tighter in the toe box. So I think at least some of the #1 last shoes are going to vary, depending on the model. The Malvern is definitely the tightest toe box on the #1 last that I have seen. Ordered the Katmai in the current sale and they should be at the house tonight, my main concern is that they are modeled too closely to the Malvern in fit.
hmm, thats a bummer. You have anything in the 8 last?
I wear a 10D in the 5 and 8 and its fine, and either a 10.5D or 10E in the 2 last.
I'm hoping the malvern in the 10d will be ok in light of the above. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.
Haha I'm glad you too are worried about the Snuff Player's being too tight. I'm trying to get through some stuff at work so I can get home to these shoes - but I'm real worried the Player's are going to be tight. Unfortunately I'm a 7.5D -- I can't imagine a 8.5D would work even if the 7.5D is too tight.
Hope they work out for you!
Mine fit good in the toe and a little loose in the heel. Mouth is a little large but I have skinny ankles as it is. I can't tighten the laces all the way yet because they are stiff, and I can't find anything wrong with them at all. I like them but not exactly the same as the Vinci which they were a replacement for. Still a good deal and my first suede boot. Sounds like yours definitely has too much material in the uppers. I would exchange them for something your comfortable with and like ASAP.
Nothing in the 8 last but have 5 shoes on the #5 last. I stayed with the #1 last in the beginning because they all fit so well. Honestly in hindsight the #5 fits me even better. The Black Hills I had to down size by a half size, every thing else is TTS and fits me perfectly on the #5 last. LOL I'm almost afraid to try another last, if I liked it then I'd be tempted to purchase even more shoes. Good luck with the malvern sounds like it may fit you and they do seem to work for some people. I really wanted them to work for me but learned a long time ago if it doesn't fit right then I seldom wear it.

my walnut players fits me perfectly in 11D but the 11D Sand Suede is too tight...

SA told me "no difference in Neumok" and mine are a bit bigger but I'm thinking its because its unlined.
Anyway, happy with both of these. It'll be a nice change for me; I wouldn't have tried either of these styles if not for the sale. And they both fit great, TTS. Anyone know what last these are on?
The one shoe I regret missing is the Bel Air. Had them on my list, but must have sold before I got to them.

Here's my haul from the 2 for $200 sale. Vinci in black and Cerreto in brown. Both are marked as seconds on the sole, but I can't find anything wrong with them other than shop wear. Both have creasing - the Vinci more noticeable - and the Cerreto has some light scratches. But I ordered matching polish for the Cerretos.

Can't argue with that, great kop!
The lasts were unique for the Seven Collection, I have found no info about them.

They sure did a nice job on the sole treatment on the Seven line. Two nice scores!
