Saw the Darmstadt in store the other day. I made the comment that it was a Leeds on steroids.

The Jomoc is pretty cool. Kinda like they took a Dundee and cut a big dip in it for your ankle.

My first thought. happy.gif

The Jomoc looks like it would be a fantastic do-anything shoe in a dark shell with a Dainite sole.

I'm waiting for more info, but I'm definitely in. I just need a pair of black shell Park Aves and I'm done! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
yeah right

Thanks for the heads up! I think LOL...

Great choice on the black shell PA hope you are able to land a good pair. One of my favorite shoes, if I have to think more than a few seconds in the morning what to wear I usually end up grabbing them. They seem to always be the right shoe to wear.

Just wait until they come out with their casual, unlined, Tangerine suede, Fuschia-laced, Harrier-soled Jomoc'amok.

Anyone has experience with AE cordovan tab belt? How is the quality and is it reasonable to go for a size larger than pants size? Thank you.

I own one and will order the other 2 colors.  They fit as they should.

I wear a 38 waist pant and am today wearing my 40 burgundy cordovan tab belt with burgundy shell Leeds.

Those look beautiful cold iron. The left shoe doesnt even look like its creasing/rolling.

Thank you, and thank you for the pic! I'd love to see more, if you have any. smile.gif

It absolutely cements my need for a pair. I have now worn my black calf PAs enough to know that there is a place for the shells in my shoe rotation, and the coming sale makes it a no-brainer.

I definitely have my fingers crossed that they will be in good order!

Amok's came in today. They truly are pretty narrow. I am an 11B but some shoes are too wide for me, particularly the 3-last shoes, so I figured a little narrow wouldn't be too bad. But these. are. narrow. We'll see if I hold onto them. They have some marks on them that I wouldn't normally be ok with, but for $67 aren't a deal-breaker.

11B - my normal size. Left foot is a little too tight. Right isn't too bad.

Should I swap out my black Park Avenues for brown Park Avenues? Just really don't have a huge use for black shoes aside from formal occasions a couple times a year. I could probably just wear the brown PA's at the same events that I would wear black PA's.

Am I answering my own question?

I wear an 8E in the suede strand and bought an 8E in the Amok as well. Waiting on delivery should be tomorrow or day after.

Thanks and a very astute observation on your part. My left foot is slightly larger than my right (which is very common) so has more volume therefore less creasing.

I looked and surprisingly I do not have any more pictures of my shell PA's. I will try to get a couple for you in the next few days. My fingers are crossed for you too!
