If those are a size 9.5, I'd be willing to help you thin the herd :)

Thanks for the offer to help

. They are an 11D so just a tad too big for you.

I got my Player's in Friday and wore them out for the first time last night, they are very comfortable.

How does the bowing look?

Another question about bowing...the salesman told me that the thicker/stronger/stiffer the leather then more pronounced the bowing will be. He said they will stay the same if not get better over time? Is this true?

I've been eyeing them all week too. I prefer the dalton and is going to try and hold out for the Nordstrom sale. I hope David is right about what models are gonna be available.

Me too. I saw the long branch on clearance and but want Dalton, so holding out. Lets see....

Wasn't expecting the latest CLEARANCE sale, and wanted the Long Branch - so quickly put in an order from my 13 B size. Always had a problem finding boots that were narrow and looked decent. Assuming all goes right, will give a comment on fit vs other Allen Edmonds (I have 13 pair).

Can any neumora owners comment on fit? I'm a 10D and Franciscans came in at a 9D. Are they both on the same last? How do I find out if they are same lasts?

Can any of the owners of the RL Sanderson comment on how you like the shoe and how they they tend to run? As a 9.5EEE in the middle of nowhere you guys are great resource while at the same time a horrible influence.

Also if anyone has the old AE Bel Air I would love to hear a comparison on the two as well.

First, they are great looking shoes. I have the dk bwn ones and they look outstanding.

I wear 9.5D in most of the AE lasts. The only tight fitting last is the 4 last for me. I will usually go to a 9E in 4 last. Thus, I say the Sanderson tends to run TTS.

If you have wide feet (EEE) don’t bother with Sanderson. They run narrow. I am a size 8E to a 8 EEE. And have the Sanderson in 8E. They feel like a 8 B.

Thanks guys, read the details online. Appears both are made on same 333 last so...if Franciscans fit me at a 9D then I'm gonna order the same in Neumora. They do look slick

....

I wear 10.5E in three different #5 last AE's. They are all "comfortably snug." (But, I had to get my right foot Strands "slow stretched" by the guys at the Plano store. They've told me I need about a 10.5 E and 1/3
smile.gif
).

My Sandersons in 10.5 E seem to fit about the same and they seem to accommodate my high instep a bit better (a supposed advantage of the #2 last on which they are allegedly built). The build quality and leather seems to be at least as good as my Independence line Jeffersons. My browns aren't as striking as the tans but might be more versatile.

If you can find a 9.5EEE at a decent price, I wouldn't shy away from it.
