Great looking shoes btw!

Thanks!

Now you have to tell me what slip beading is.

It's that strip of leather across the shoes top line that covers the edge of the cut leather :-) shoes like the McAllister, Strand, Leeds and MacNeil would have it while the Neumok, Badlands, MacNeil 5 doesn't have it.

Looking great! Where are those flat laces from? I have a few pairs on the way from a fine pair of shoes that I hope are nice.

It was a specification in my MTO order. They are just the same laces used for the Carlyle.

Thanks for this information, Kent. You're a gentleman and a scholar.

Not quite the case. While I agree they're approximately equally formal, a wingtip is "technically" less formal before it's a full brogue instead of just a half.

As for closed lacing with jeans/chinos, that's really up to you. It's "technically" not advised, but I personally don't follow that rule.

Natural has more of a yellow tan color to it.

I know you have posted pics of these before but would you mind throwing another one up? I would really like to see the brown shell strand with medium transparent edge trim
