Your Cordovan Kenilworths are stunning! WAY better than the Leeds!

Hit up

NY: 631-369-0947, but they only offered by the 20% off because they were sold out of Dalton seconds,

the same conditions might apply to dundees

I’m a long time lurker and follow this thread religiously but never posted until now. Thought I’d pop up to mention that I’ve amassed quite a collection of AE shoes over the last year and recently developed a foot nerve problem that doesn’t allow me to wear the same size.  I've always been a 10D but suddenly I need a 10.5E.  Getting older is weird and at times frustrating.  So… I decided to sell them on ebay (seller brownjo).

I just put six styles up for sale, all size 10D.  Perhaps someone here that happens to wear that size will be interested:

McAllister – bourbon

Strand – cordovan

Morgan – brown brush off

Stewart – blue suede

Park Avenue – bourbon

Elgin – waxy tan

And those were precisely the ones I was thinking of...that particular color combination on those shoes is ice cold.

Pepper, what color shell are those kenilworths? They are on point. What was your MTO make up and how much were they?

Hey bro, they are burgundy. Check out the Allen Edmonds MTO thread. The details should be on the 2nd or 3rd page. I don't remember off the top of my head unforch!

I paid around $515 or so plus tax, because I bought them during the rediscover america sale, and AE was honoring sale prices on MTO orders.

edit: here's the link:

Can you tell me about the scratch on the strands? Would that be able to come out at all? I don't know much about cordovan.

New webgems up. Yikes! Not pretty. On the plus side, if you wanted to MTO a monkstrap on the 5 last, or an austerity brogue, here's a good chance...

I haven't looked at the AE website yet. But I'm just assuming thats a joke on your part correct?

I kid ye not

If I can MTO an all calf austerity brogue from that model for that price, though, I think I'm gonna go for it, though.

Can't imagine why you couldn't. I think MTO is the only way I'd consider one. Those factory make ups are just way out of proportion.

Because he didn't ask about the Kenilworths. smile.gif Seriously, if I hadn't picked up decade-old NOS shell Leeds for $125 on the 'bay (and if they made Kenilworths in AA widths) I'd've gone that route instead.

I wouldn't interview in it and I wouldn't wear it to my own wedding -- but if you're gonna wear a blucher with a fine suit, I agree with DG. The Kenilworth is the best option I can think of.

It's throwback Monday. These are Sanfords from the late 1990s - early 2000s before they were discontinued, reintroduced, and discontinued again. And this was AE's Bourbon back then.

Whoa! These are train-wrecks. However I do agree that they present a good starting point for MTOs.
