Is this walnut or bourbon? Also, they are on the same last as the long branch, so I should try to get the same size, correct? Any outside opinions on Dalton vs. LB sizing?

I am drooling over these photos.Great jeans as well. And where did you get those laces? They change the look of the shoe entirely! Anyway, I am less concerned about the color (I would probably go for bourbon) and more about the last and profile of the shoe with dress pants. I don't want to stand out too much.

It's on the 1 last which is the same as the LB, Leeds, Dundee and some others, honestly a fantastic last. The laces were just some cheap $1 flat waxed laces from ebay haha. Was kind of going for an Alden look but the laces turned out too fat.

Found another pic that I had, I do love the Bourbon Dalton and may pick it up again in the future.

Since selling the Dalton I did find some Alden laces and threw them on my Eagle County boots and love them, I highly suggest them for the guys who bought MTO of the Eagle County.

I just realized they have the fifth street boot in black as well. Anyone have experience with these? The Daltons have a large following here but I don't see many of the 5th. In my opinion, the high top balmoral look is quite different. I can't decide whether I love it or hate it.

I have the 5th Street in brown and I wear them all the time. They are one of my go to dress shoes in the winter.

Yeah, mine are walnut. Oops.

Thanks for the suggestions!  I'll have to take a look at those for sure.  I've been emailing the Shoebank every so often inquiring about a sale after the February sale ended, and they didn't have a sale.

Love these laces. Where did you get them?

What are people's experience on shipping costs when buying from the shoe bank? I've been charged a few times and not charged in others. Not sure why the inconsistency.

I don't think I've ever been charged for shipping. They have awesome service despite the fact that some of the seconds I received should be deemed thirds or fourths. I always ask about shipping though before I place an order, so maybe that's why they never charge me?

Shipping from the shoe bank has always been free from my experience, but returns are $10 per box.

I emailed Alden SF and inquired about purchasing a few pairs, mentioning that a pair I had broke. The SA ended up sending me 4 pairs for free.

The are the brown flat waxed.

Finally got around to unboxing some black Jeffersons that I got from Amazon. Through a combination of sales and codes, I ended up paying $175 for first quality Indy line shoes.

So my review: they fit great, look and feel superb. The Indy leather upper really is astonishingly better than their regular "custom calf" offerings. If you're doing a calfskin MTO any time soon, it is definitely well worth the extra upgrade to use the independence leather. The finishing is so much better, and it just feels a lot sifter and more comfortable.

I know people have mixed experience with Shoe purchases on Amazon (and the black hanovers I also bought to compare are definitely beat up quite a bit) but I must say that these are flawless. Can't believe I got such a great deal....

I saw that deal and was gonna pull the trigger just for the heck of being able to get such an awesome deal. I refrained though because they would probably only be worn once a year, and I have other gaps in my shoe collection that I need to fill. Absolutely great deal though if you wear suits/business apparel regularly. Enjoy your new shoes!

Snuff suede Neumoks, a great looking shoe. Look at that edge color, amazing!

Loving the boots I see in this forum group… thought I'd share a short video of my new purchase. The Long Branch Boot in Dark Brown. More updates to come.

Watch in Higher Definition for better image quality...
