I haven't tried it yet, but I've read that sprinkling some talc in the area producing the squeak can eliminate the problem.

One of my pairs of Daltons were squeaking. In my case it just took time and patience. The squeaking gradually went away after wearing them 1-2 times a week for a couple months.

Very nice shoes and nice style overall!

Great looking shoes! I love my Walnut Jermyn's so much, I was toying with the idea of ordering up Chili MTO!

Hmm in that case the 14AA Ashton's I was sent instead of the 15D Fifth Avenues must have been eighths. Ill give him some credit they were both black.

I don't think anything beats the guy who receives two different colour shoes. A different size is one thing, someone could wear those, who they actually fit. These kinds of situations are discouraging for people in Canada, like myself, or other countries trying to utilize the shoebank. Both situations would be a huge pain in the ass.

Hopefully they wave the $10 return fee...

Surely they must? If anyone had actually opened the box and inspected the shoes, they would have realized that they weren't at all suitable for mailing out. Right?!

In my case they provided return shipping expedited my proper shoes and threw in some extras. While frustrating they took such good care of it I have no hesitation ordering from them again.

I would ask the SA to open the box and check for quality. They handle seconds all day, they know what to look for. Of course everyone's tolerances are different but it should provide more of a guarantee.

Exactly right, and don't feel shy about asking.

One of the JVille ladies volunteered to have a pair of shell PA sent from storage to the store so she could personally inspect them and send me a photo.

I've always had only the best service when dealing with Jeffersonville.

This was my first pair of AE's and I still think it is the nicest pair...It is one shoe that photo's do not do justice too. When I first got the shoe I left them out just to look at they were so striking. I have only rocked them in the house..also waiting for the warmer weather....Love the belt with it...may have to pick that up

This was my first pair purchased of AE off the bay Winhall in Chili .. this is another pair that photo's do not seem to do justice too...though this photo does a pretty good job :) I have worn these several times and always receive compliments. Considering the Orleans, Winhall, Boca or Carlsbad in black for spring and summer

Thanks, I did try the company to see if there were black Jermyns and they could not find any in 11.5E. In the meantime I have ordered the Manchesters.
