I remember seeing a pair of navy mcallisters in the marketplace as well and they were pretty dark. I wish they were lighter, or as I mentioned weeks ago, in shell!

I love that dark color, more like a midnight than a navy but I think it makes it a little more versatile the darker it is. Could possibly replace black shoes in certain occasions.

What to do, what to do... Jubei's monks were one thought that immediately sprung to mind even before insane the picture. Or maybe a navy Carlyle

I want something in navy just to have it because it is bad ass. I just still wonder how much I'd wear it.

I'm a big fan of navy shoes and have navy shoes in suede, CXL, calf, and shell. No, they are not as versatile as say brown shoes, but I don't find it too difficult to find occasions to wear them. They seem to go pretty well with various shades of grey, tan, and burgundy pants. In my opinion, an Eagle County in navy calf with some Dainite soles would be a pretty nice makeup that you could wear a lot if you wear grey or tan pants often.

I really like those Stewart derbies. I wanted to order them during this clearance sale, but I have too many brown shoes.

I'd love a pair of Stewart derbies in blue suede - like the ones they did for Lands End a couple years ago:

Almost all of my trousers are grey toned. Maybe I should own some navy shoes...

I wouldn't even consider these Stewarts brown..it's very much a tan with reddish tones. Considering this makeup is about one fourth the price of a whiskey or ravello shell blucher, I'm happy with them smile.gif.

Oddly enough, this is my first pair of PTBs. I've got longwings, shortwings, loafers, balmorals and a handful of boots...but never a plain toe.

My Black Neumora's arrived this morning. I probably could have gone with a half size smaller but for the price I got on the sale I'm not going to complain. They are beautiful shoes!

Wearing my suede today now that there isn't a mess of wet snow outside. These are a style from a few years back, the McClain on the 8 last.

Hi all,

First time posting. I have a pair of Wolverines 744 seconds on hold at the shoe bank for $399. Should I pull the trigger or does anyone have any insight on them coming back down to 299? Looks like I just missed it.

Thanks!
