Passed on shells and independence seconds during this sale (and likely many more) to fund my SB TICKETS!!

Very jealous on the tickets, definitely trumps any shoe. Would love to get a chance to see my Hawks on the field today

A Marshawn Lynch jersey over a hoodie and two more layers. Probably just wearing on my feet my Nike Air Max 90 infrared for any former sneaker heads.

I'll cheer twice as loud for you (if that's possible). Go Hawks!

Believe it or not, I bought them brand new from a SF member whom they didn't fit. I think they were a webgem??

Sorry to be a bore, but I thought I would post another couple of photos of my supposed brown shell Dundee's. I believe these show the burgundy color quite well. It's not that I don't like the color per se, but I was after a brown shell chukka, not a #8. Would you guys agree that these are in fact #8 (or the AE equivalent)?

Here are my Football Neumoks. I forgot how comfortable these were... They haven't been worn in a good 6 months.

Hoit1981, I have a pair of Brown Shell Strands and the captoe is basically burgundy. I have since applied brown cordovan creme to the entire show and that has caused the different pieces to look like they belong together. As for yours, I think the color is wonderful, but you are the one that has to live with them, and hopefully enjoy them every time you wear them, and not wish the color was different.

There's no way those are supposed to be brown and not #8

I had my Football Neumoks made with the darker brown welt and also with the (darkish) green leather for the quarters; they are subtle enough I could wear them regularly but they only seem to come up in rotation about twice per month. If the Eagles were in today's game I would be wearing them, but such was not to be.

Hard decision to make tomorrow:

A) Brown cordovan Dundees (2nds) for $299

or

B) Drive on with my MTO Shaker Heights in all brown Chromexcel on a mini lug sole for $279.

This will be my last shoe purchase for a very, very long time to come. I sold my wife on option B, as it's replacing a much cheaper 3-season boot that's on its last legs. Nevertheless, I can't escape the feeling that I'll rue letting these Dundees go....

As much as I like shell, I wouldn't sell my wife to get one more pair.

Totally not brown.  Those are burgundy.  I consulted my wife, since women know their colors; she agrees.

Agree. On top of that, the AE site shows the brown ones to have antique edging and the burgundy to have black edging like the OP's pair.

Hoit, maybe the mislabled color was the "defect" if they're seconds.

Happy superbowl sunday boys!
