I'm considering selling my Daltons (which I've worn maybe 2 times in a year) to fund a shell MacNeil creation.

I asked this a few days back.....anyone have her contact info?  Preferably email?  Thanks!

I heard that if there was no AE outlet in the state you had your shoes shipped to there wouldn't be any sales tax charged.
I ordered from the Riverhead outlet and she said I had to pay sales tax of the state it was being shipped to, because AE had stores there.

I live in a state that does not have an AE presence. I don't pay any sales tax. smile.gif

I think the state's sales tax law also comes into play. My state has an AE presence, but no sales tax on shoes= no sales tax from shoebank

No problem, although I did mistakenly type a "s" in her email address. Sorry. The one posted above is correct.

I couldn't make up my mind on the Amoks but finally decided to do so around 12AM. I bought the Snuff version.

It looks like they're not available at all now - in ANY color. A click on them gets you a dead link on the AE site.

That's a shame. Also the Ridgeways in Olive seem to be gone from the site.

Yesterday it showed me 75 items in the clearance section. This morning it shows 64.

I thought of pulling the trigger for the Olive Ridgeways but decided to pass. Not sure if I need a shoe an olive in my rotation. This said though, the speed at which they were gone from the website makes me reconsider my original decision.

Long time reader, first post. I've acquired a few shoes this year thanks to this thread and another forum I'm on (they actually got me started). My list so far:

Firsts: Merlot McAllisters, Walnut Clifton
Seconds: Chili Delray, Black LaSalle

On the way: Blue Suede Webgem loafers

I'm looking at a few now, but unfortunately decided to sleep on it. Woke up wanting the black Eagle County's but they're out of my standard size (10.5e). How do they usually fit? For reference, I'm a 10.5e in the McAllister but wear a 9.5eee in the Clifton/Delray/LaSalle.

When I went to the local AE store to get sized, I was surprised to learn that I am a 10D or E.  I have been wearing 11.5 sized shoes for the past several years. It seems to me that AE shoes are just more true to actual size than the athletic shoes, or cheap dress shoes I used to buy.  If you can go to an AE store it is well worth your time.

they run large. I would try 9.5E or 10D.

Does anyone know when the upcoming 2 for $250 sale will be held?
