As a side note - I had purchased all of these shoes from Nordstrom (two in-store and the 3rd pair was ordered from them).  I will be travelling home this weekend and there is an AE store close by, I am thinking of stopping by and seeing if they have my size that doesn’t have any defects.

Since you are very anal as you said, if it makes you happy, just do a return. Even if myself and other members tell you otherwise, you probably do a return anyways.

The crease isn't ideal, but I tolerance for shoes seems to be a lot higher compare to some others.

scratch that, it may not stack...im in the process of attempting a check out with everything stacked.

EDIT: This is what I learned, if you purchase 3 trees its does not stack...if you purchase between 4-5 trees you get 3 for 25 total, and 20% off the other 2...but if you jump up to 6 trees, once again it does not stack with B1G2 sale and the total for 6 would just be 50$.

Thanks for the update! I was just about to try it out myself.

+1. I'd probably just wear them, esp. if I'm already on my third pair. Besides, they don't seem that noticeable anyway (and may be easily minimized with a little lotion/wax). Nonetheless, if you still decide to return them, you might consider just getting a full refund or going to the store first to make sure that you can inspect the next pair carefully.

Just left jos a bank with 3 shoe trees, 3 suit hangers, 5 merino wool OTC socks & 1 wooden shoe horn for 80$...not bad I think.

I also want the olive Neumoks.  I have the Navy and wear them with jeans, khakis and grey slacks.  I think the olive would wear well with the same.

Not to intrude on your conversation, but here are mine that I got as a Webgem a few months ago.  They are great.  But so are the walnut calf.

Not at all, thanks! They look great. I thought the walnuts would be too flashy so my first though was chocolate but they may all be gone from the seconds sale. I'm going to try to order a pair in chili tomorrow.

In appreciation of the current sale on RLs, here are mine after a few months of wear. I purchased them the last time the Shoebank had a sale and was actually looking to buy a pair of saunders this time around but unfortunately they didn't have the color I wanted.

Those chilli daltons look pretty awesome, hopefully they come back again wouldn't miss ordering them.  Although I wouldn't mind seeing the chilli on the 5th avenue boot either.  That being said the bourbon portlands look pretty good too.  What do AE charge to do Cappuccino bayfields?

An update with the whole family. Ive pared down my collection quite a bit. I've lost a lot of money the past few years chasing these AE sales and at the end of the day its all about fit for me. As someone with a weird shaped foot, no matter how beautiful the shoes or how great the deal, eventually your feet will tell you the truth after a few wears. Here's to me learning from my lesson, and a few lucky people out there with size 9d feet who will benefit from my loss haha!
