I assume these are seconds?

Yep. The lady told me she can't see what the defect is on the delray with her eyes. While she couldn't check the amsterdam as it was going to come from a different outlet. I think I snagged the last 9.5 D amsterdam.

VinnyMac I think he was talking about the outlet that did seconds and first for additional 30% off price
I picked up a Larchmont with tax and all for 195
I think you are commenting on the allen edmond web site sale.

No. As far as I could tell, there weren't any good 10.5D or 10E size shoes (only the casual shxt shoes). Maybe I should have called at exactly opening time.

Just ordered Strands in Walnut from the shoebank for $199 with shoe trees for $15. Hopefully it won't be too bad- the representative I dealt with said the defect wasnt noticeable with the plain eye and if I had any concerns I could ship it back.

Finally, my collection is done for now :) Dark chocolate Daltons (in the mail..), Cognac McTavish, and Walnut Strands :D

I called the shoebank too. $199 just didn't seem like a great deal for Strands of Park Avenues. It probably IS, but after seeing lower prices, I can't go back to $199. Even still, they didn't have my size...
Vinney that surprises me I'm 11e and there was 4 pages of shoes
Bought a Amsterdam and Larchmont

Yeah....It sucks. As noted above, the same went for the shoebank, and I called them almost immediately after they opened.

Bad luck Vinny. Maybe you can find something during xmas or boxing day sales. What are their sales usually like then if anyone knows?

Yeah, I agree it isn't a great deal, but still a fair discount from what I've come across so far on the net. Perhaps I haven't looked hard enough though

My experience probably differs from others I've read about, but for me shoes that are uncomfortable when I first try them on only get more uncomfortable over time. Yes, they will stretch a bit, but if your pinky toe is rubbing at the initial try on, it will probably be blistered after a 12 hour day in the shoes. Some shoes fit better than others, but I've never had an uncomfortable shoe become comfortable over time. I'd size up. Heel slippage isn't as a big a problem with boots, IMO.

Thanks. I drew the same conclusions and returned them.

Presidio and Ashbury were the only two in my size. There may be others.
