I've been waiting for this sale to stock up a bit. Five shoe trees on the way. You are the man. Thanks for the heads up!

The El Dorado looks OK. The other 2 I wouldn't wear. My favorite driver from AE would have to be the El Paso. Though not drivers, you may also want to consider the Preston (currently on clearance) or the Sanibel (all in brown not black).

What about those Port Washington's or the White Fish Bay?

My Brown Shell patriots have become my favorite and most worn shoes. I purchased the brown shell and the burgundy shell patriots at the same time and this past week i've been trying to break in the burgundy ones. I'm going to NYC in a few weeks and the burgundy ones are the only shoes i'm planning on taking. They are coming along and I wore them out today for the first time. They are still a little tight but I believe that they will loosen up just like their brown counterparts.

My pleasure, adam. I've managed to deal with obnoxious daily emails from them for about 5 months now so that I wouldn't miss out on the next great shoe tree buy. My diligence has finally paid off and I can remove myself from their mailing list.

These looks like a pretty good deal, roughly buy 1 get 2 free. Haven't they had buy 1 get 5 free before?

Anyone in NYC want to go in on one shipment? I don't need 8 pair but hate paying shipping.

Yes, but I think most of us are weird like that, too.

Not weird at all. I usually smell mine every time I put them on.

FYI, the Brick and Mortar locations should price match the sale. No need to worry about buying in mass quantities if not necessary.

Gentlemen,

I am looking to add a third pair of Allen Edmonds to my rotation.

Currently I own a pair of black Park Ave's and AE Brooks Brothers Strands in brown.

I am looking at AE Clifton's from Nordstrom http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/allen-edmonds-clifton-oxford/3559134?origin=fashionresultspreview They are offered in black, burgundy burnish and walnut.

I am unsure of what color to get. These will probably be my most utilized pair of shoes. I dress in BB wool trousers most of the time. Most of my trousers are dark colors. I have navy, brown, olive, charcoal, gray, and tan. It seems to me "burgundy burnish"  may be the most versatile color for my wardrobe.

I am working on adding sport coats and an additional suit to my wardrobe. I currently have a navy BB Fitz suit, navy 2 button blazer and a brownish Harris Tweed. So that is what would also be paired with my shoes.

I appreciate any and all opinions.

A burgundy Clifton would certainly be a good addition.

I cant stop thinking about how I just used a $20 coupon to get one pair of trees, when now I could have gotten almost 3!!! Damn my timing is off.
