I hope they made at least 2 of them.  1 shoe would be a tough sell, except with the canoe crowd of course.

Big shoes? Check out the beginning of this video:

Well, it looks like I managed to have my pair of Spiaggia delivered before they made it onto the AE site, and I'm extremely pleased with them as a summer shoe.

Two notes:

- They came with white laces, but I put those green ones in.

- They came with cream-colored shoe bags, as opposed to the burgundy ones.

Those are beautiful looking shoes, but I'd be terrified to wear them anywhere but inside my house.

I've finally figured out why your feet are so small and the shoes barely discernible in all your pictures.  You've been taking your shoe pictures with one of these:

I've got an old Blackberry with a camera that I don't use.  PM me and I'll mail it to you so you can take pictures of your shoes from less than 10 feet away.  biggrin.gif

Thank you. Why would you worry about wearing them outside? If it's because you wouldn't want to muck them up, they're shoes, not priceless artifacts.

I definitely thought so, especially for the summer.

Recent addition to the collection: Madison Aves.

I've been admiring these for a while at Nordies rack. I noticed that they were on the recent 2 for 250 sale. Tried to pull the trigger, but the outlet folks told me they only came with a rubber sole. Passed. However, all the Rack ones have leather soles. Special makeup? Had to get them. It could be me but I think leather soles are more breathable. I'm really gonna like wearing these.

I got a pair on 6pm.com last night for $208 with free shipping. Not many sizes, but they had my 11.5 3E!

Quick question: Does AE re-craft seconds? I'm considering purchasing a pair of seconds.

Just received my Mora and Players chocolate suede as part of 2 for $250. Both shoes are virtually spotless. Mora is easily the most beautiful model Ae has ever made. Honestly speaking I am really impressed with the last and cap position and over all proportion of the apron and buckle straps of this pair. If you can get your hands on a pair just grab them.

My girlfriend sent me an email just a few minutes ago that she went to my house to let the dog out and there was a package on the front steps. She brought it in and noticed the bottom was wet and that it was from Allen Edmonds. So opened it and there were several bottles in it all frozen solid and one was broken. Don't think it has hit double digits above zero F yet today. I had just ordered 2 jars of Venetian Shoe Cream and 3 edge dressings. Sometimes I miss UPS.

Was it one of the outlets that carries Venetian Shoe Cream?  I have never seen it on their website and would love to find somewhere that sells it with free shipping.

Did you happen to score any shoes on eBay this week?  There were some amazing narrow shoes in 14, saw two in sharkskin and one monkstrap that I would've killed for in my width - D.  I don't really consider my feet to be abnormally large seeing as I am 6'6" and 235lbs, I just wish there were more options in 14D on eBay.
