I think there's been a miscommunication somewhere along the line.  The pictured shoes are the new AE webgem for April.  AE determined this would be a bigger seller than a new color of shell.

If Renovateur and Lexo. are not getting it all off, then, yes, I would try Renomat.  I would also research how to use it correctly and ask questions in the shoe care thread.

Its a shame they don't make any classic or moderately modern looking shoes.  They are the "Alden" of womens shoes.  If they ever made a decent oxford, I would look into them...

I would try Renomat on your Strands. If it doesn't get the wax off, then maybe it just isn't going to come off. Hanger Project has some instructions on using Renomat.

Woah don't denigrate Alden like that. Christian Louboutin makes very stylish shoes, but I'd hardly say they come close to Alden's construction methods. Also, Christian Louboutin is known by the masses. Alden is known mostly by only those who appreciate nice mens' shoes.

Are you family with their women's shoes?  They are made completely different than mens shoes, so ya, comparing it to goodwelted shoes is not a good comparison, I am just saying, Louboutin's (along with Manolo, Jimmy Choo, etc...) are the high end shoes for women, just like Alden, Carmina, Edward Green, and etc is to men.  They use good quality leather, lining, heel construction, etc...

 

While I'm not proud of this, knowledge of woman's shoes is almost as much as asset as being able to cook LOL

lol, alden should not be mentioned in the same breath as Edward Green.

Louboutins are more like G&G, in that they are the same price range, design, etc as Manolos, Choos and the like).

Carmina is not EG level either.

OK thread back on topic.  Custom Neumoks should be getting delivered soon.  Didn't they say by March 17th?  idk... I ordered them on the last day they were available, so I would assume it would take longer than that.  idk...
