Unless it's deep, you should be able to polish over that. I would use creme polish to fill in the color.

Plus, I think the BB and RL seconds are always heavily discounted during any seconds sale. I think the only difference this past week was the frenzy of everyone realizing this.

It was ordered from the shoe bank. I understand a large work load, but when she tells me one thing, and then the tracking proves something else, it is disappointing. Again, not the customer service I expect from AE.
Also, I ordered last week the Brooks Strand. I actually think they arrived the next day or two days later after I ordered them. I worn them twice now. I know they have the poron insole, but I am surprised at how much tighter this shoe is compared to other AEs I have on the same last. Also, they squeak a bit when I walk. I love the look of the shoe, abut am hoping they stretch a bit and stop squeaking...
Also, don't be afraid to rub a little Johnson & Johnson's baby powder in the problem area if you can isolate the area that is causing squeaking. Try conditioner first, since it is good for the shoe anyway, but a little baby powder won't hurt anything. Just dab some on with your fingertips to create a thin white film (don't go shaking it all over your shoe).

Beautiful shoe. Interesting that it came in an Allen Edmonds box rather than a Ralph Lauren one.

Great looking LWB collection!
