Also, regarding the Evanstons, keep an eye out on EBay for new old stock or a barely worn pair.  I like the soft square shape/silhouette of the Evanston so much, it inspired me to purchase a pair of C&J on the 337 last for my black cap toe and Andrew Lock's benchgrade for my brown cap toe.

I had a pair of C&J Westbournes on order but I decided to cancel it after realizing I didn't want to deal with the hassle and cost with returning them in the likely case they wouldn't fit... I'll just have to wait till I get up to NYC and figure out my C&J sizes before ordering them.

Basically, it would go something like this...

Tried to get the brown Slatons, but they did not have them in my size. If anyone picked up some bwn Slatons in 9.5D, shoot me a PM. I may take them off your hands.

This is awesome!

I've been sitting out this sale, because I've just purchased too many shoes lately. But when I saw the picture of the Illford, I emailed them. Hopefully they don't have my size....

Thank god I'm not married.  lol.

Luckily I got them ALL heavily discounted.  I do think I've decided that the Fairfax is my favorite model, followed by the strand.

Return the calf shoes if you have to, but hold on for dear life to those shells! Were the Strands seconds? If so, do you know what the defects are?

Edit: And the Sandersons. Those things rule.

Now that I've got a RL Sanderson in Tan coming in, I think I'll be selling the Walnut Lombard. Although the RL shoes can't be re-crafted, at $130, this is a steal!

Can never have too many! At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Newbie here. How do AE's fit compared to clarks desert boots? I'm considering picking up some park avenue seconds in black. I just need to get a black oxford cap for upcoming school events and interviews. Maybe ill buy a lesser brand for my first pair but just would like to know how to size
