My friend bought some AE boots, but he can't afford the polish and shoes trees right now.(he's still in uni before you elitist pricks say something)

Which one should he buy first?

He will probably one of the two in two weeks.

Shoe trees. He shouldn't need to polish them for a while.

Hate to say it, but I would not wear the shoes until I was able to get shoe trees and some conditioner and polish.  Shoe trees for obvious reasons, but I've found you get significantly less creasing and more protection of the calfskin if you condition the shoes and polish them before wearing the first time.

Orange and white here I come!

I was going to try and make a white Neumok with black stitching; but only tone-on-tone stitching is available. And I can't do my school colours; there is no purple leather available :(

Just ordered these red and white Neumoks. You can custom order Webgem Neumoks for $199 through 3/3. Looking forward to getting these babies.

If he is limited to only one option, then I agree trees should be a greater priority.

If he can hold off on wearing them until he is totally set up, then this is an even better option.

This is one of the best Webgem ideas they have had, for all the Neumok fans out there.

Agreed. I'm going to pass, but it's a great idea.

Same here.  I like the neumok on others, but it doesn't fit into my wardrobe.  I think they could be on to something by offering a discount on a custom made shoe though!

I have a seersucker suit that I think the red and white will look awesome with. Also, I think they would be great for Valentines day, can have green laces added for christmas and blue for 4th of July. Also, my schools colors were Red, Black and White. And when I return for events/games, I can wear these. I think I will get lots of use out of them. But mainly for the seersucker. Currently I wear my distressed blue Neumok with the seersucker. I am not a fan of the traditional white bucks. I like to do something a little different...
